This week on the show I talk about how to answer questions about veganism. I start of explaining a few basic steps you can take. A lot of the time this isnât necessary, but when people ask you more difficult questions it may come in handy.
Then I explain how to answer people who are merely curious (as opposed to them just trying to annoy you), how to correct people who think that vegans eat fish, cheese, gelatin and honey, how to answer nonvegans who apologise to you for eating dead animals and how to respond when people give you their excuses for not being vegan.
I also read this recipe for a vegan tofu quiche:
â¢A block of tofu
â¢A tin of vegan pasta sauce
â¢Â½ cup of flavoured liquid (vegetable stock or a water and soy sauce mix)
â¢2 cups self raising flour
â¢4 small potatoes (cooked)
â¢4 carrots (cooked)
â¢Other veggies (try grated zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, onion, peppers)
Blend the tofu, pasta sauce and flavoured liquid. Then mix in the flour and cooked veggies. Refrigerate for about an hour or two, and then bake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
